Set a monthly reminder to update all apps

Manually check for and install updates for all installed apps on your computer and phone once a month.

Why this matters

Not all apps update themselves automatically. A monthly sweep ensures no outdated software lingers.

How to do it

  1. Set a recurring calendar reminder for the first of each month: 'Update all apps'
  2. Windows: Microsoft Store → Library → Get updates
  3. Mac: App Store → Updates tab
  4. iPhone: App Store → your profile → Update All
  5. Android: Google Play → Manage apps → Update all
